Vastu Shastra is an ancient tradition of India, synthesized in a scripture that is part of the Vedas. It is a mystical manual architecture that provides the building the best use of subtle energies, providing guests, wellbeing, feeling good and benefit of good channeled energies.

The architectural design of the Dharma Shala Inn was designed around the following basic principles, and philosophical guidelines of Vastu Shastra. The entire infrastructure and the location of each facility and the Pousada sector have their specific place according to the mysticism of ancient India, to the best energy absorption.

Because the location is in the middle of the forest, access for construction materials is delicate, requiring the development of unconventional engineering methods and use of alternative materials and prepared on site.

Pousada Dharma Shala was also built using Permaculture techniques, prioritizing local materials like granite blocks and pieces of local wood. According to Vastu Shastra this technique is called Loka-Purusha.

Beds, sofas, floors and stops are all made by hand on site for residents Ecovilla in raw wood. The style has an oriental touch that makes India sprout amidst the Atlantic Forest.

All these elements combined create a unique and original style, a rustic atmosphere, comfortable, warm and harmonious where the mysticism of India and energy of nature involve everyone.
