1) From Rio de Janeiro Car

• Total distance is approximately 180kms after the end of Avenida Brazil.
• Catch the Rio-Santos highway, BR 101.
• Schedule 41 kms Nuclear Plant
• At the sight of the "Blackbird, KM 558" sign, go right just after the bus stop in BR.
• Go toward the Inn of Bromeliads (5 kms)
• Upon arriving at the Inn of Bromeliads, climb over 800 mts to Porteira Ecovillage, and more 500mts to Pousada Dharma Shala.
• This road is semi-paved, with most of the passages already concreted, but if your car is too low and you'd prefer, you can leave the car in the square in front of the Inn of Bromeliads and hire our service Transfer with 4x4 (R $ 45 , 00 per trip)

2) From Rio de Janeiro to Bus

• In New River Road, take buses Cia Costa Verde

• Arriving in Paraty, you have 2 options:

1 - Our Schedule Transfer and warn the driver that will jump before Paraty at KM 562 This Transfer service at Pousada Dharma Shala will cost £ 60.00, and must be scheduled in advance.. Upon arriving at KM 500, call tel (24-99872 6253) and tell what is coming. When u reach 558 km, will be there waiting for you.

• 2 - Go to Paraty, jump on the bus and catch the city bus to the Valley of the Blackbird. Skip to end of Blackbird, where the bus back to where you came. U can walk up enjoying nature if not with heavy luggage (1500 mts of ascent), or ask our Customer Service Transfer (£ 40.00).
• Call before leaving for Paraty tel (24-99872 6253) to request the service in advance.
• The Paraty Bus schedules for Blackbird are: 6:20 to 08:20 - 10:30 to 12:30 - 15:30 to 17:20 - 18:30

3) SP Car

• Option 1 - From Santos or Bertioga (longer journey)
• Option 2 - Rod Tamoios, São José dos Campos Caraguatatuba. (Many spines between Caraguá and Ubatuba)
• Option 3 - Rod Oswaldo Cruz, Taubaté Ubatuba (most recommended way)

Shamrock Paraty, after 13 kms towards the Rio de Janeiro for the Rio-Santos.
Arriving at KM 562 you will spot a written "Blackbird, KM 562" plate. Get ready to enter the left side of the bus stop. • Take a bus on Road of the Tietê, of Transportation gathered to Paraty
